Rocks and Birds at Pequonnock Valley

This weekend I was focused on GPS the remaining blazed Trails for the Trailforks map - and added the Red Trail on Saturday and the Yellow Trail on Sunday. The remaining missing part of the White Trail I will do tomorrow.
Sadly the boardwalk is still off-kilter but we will be bringing in a crew on Saturday to fix it and patch a lot of mudholes in the vicinity on the White Trail.
A cacophony of Blackbirds entertained me for a bit on Saturday...

There was an intriguing looking fungus on a log by the waterfall on the Red Trail - sadly the photo didn't capture it too well :-(
After finishing the Yellow Trail GPS, I meet up with Kevin near the crevice and we enjoyed the brief bit of sunshine walking back south along that amazing trail of massive rocks and moss.
Later Kevin showed me secret mini crevice where we snapped a few photos.

The valley never ceases to amaze me!
