Bombogenesis - snowshoes required

A Nor'easter "Bomb Cyclone" came passing through on Saturday - news media went nuts with the word "Bombogenesis" pervading the newscasts. It was bad--but somehow I remember things much worse when I was growing up in upstate NY.

Nevertheless we got over a foot of snow and I took to the trails in the backyard on snowshoes late morning...

To quote Mr.  Rogers "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood." Sunday afternoon snowshoe hike in the local park on "virgin snow!" :-)
