On Thursday, despite the brutal sun and humidity - I was curious about this trail so I took a hike along the Connecticut River to check it out.
It's an easy hike - super flat but a bit overgrown in spots!
The river was still high from all the rains that Tropical Storm Elsa dropped...
That opening across the way goes into the large Crow Point Cove (map link) which was created when Interstate 91 was built. A large amount of earth was excavated here for an embankment for the Interstate.
Yep - a bit overgrown...Lastly I ended on a farm road where I decided to turn around after walking a bit further for a while...
