Globe Hollow Reservoir and Case Mtn

In preparation for an event this Saturday, I scouted out and biked the route we will be taking. We will definitely avoid the trail I marked as "Big Mistake" - that section was NOT a pleasant ride

Tyler Mill - Visit #2

Rode a "quickie" at the North end of Tyler Mill today. Sadly the weather was once again overcast and gloomy.

Still getting used to the park - so far it doesn't thrill me (maybe a sunny day might help...)

Second and First Falls - Indian Kill

After visiting my still vibrant 100-year old mother at the Glendale Home,  I stopped by to hike the Indian Kill Nature Preserve. It is truly an awesome park - sections make you feel that you were hiking in a primordial forest untouched for thousands of years.

I entering from the old Woodlin Pool Club parking lot and just hiked the western section of the park - most of the trails west of Third Falls were all new to me. It was a really nice adventure!

Its a beautiful place - so glad the town has kept it a Nature Preserve!

Pedaling again at Case!

It was great riding at Case Mountain today - the weather was perfect!. I didn't do too bad for an old man!

I parked at Line Street and rode a bunch of Trailforks "blue trails"

First Time at Tyler MIll

Today I rode Tyler Mill for the first time. The old man is still pedaling! I just did a small easier section of it for starters. It was cloudy and gray (but it didn't rain!) and not that exciting of a ride. It a huge place so I'll be back at some point.

Cool at Cowles...

 I rode for an hour and a half today at Cowles. As always, it was great! The weather was cool for August and the trails were dry
